Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience with leadership responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience with plastic extrusion processing, extrusion machinery, and die head/tooling design.
• Knowledge of polymer behavior, melt flow, and extrusion performance.
• Experience with the full product development lifecycle including new product development and sustaining engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in structured methods (root cause analysis, 8D, etc.).
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall technical ownership of extrusion tooling product lines, including die head design, tooling components, and system performance.
• Lead and direct engineering teams across the U.S. and India, setting priorities, assigning work, and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Drive new product development efforts, including concept development, design, prototyping, validation, and production readiness.
• Support production and field service by troubleshooting tooling and die head performance issues, implementing root cause solutions and long-term improvements.
• Partner with sales, operations, manufacturing, and product management to support customer needs, improve product quality, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
