Job summary

Milacron in Batavia, OH is seeking a Change Management & Process Improvement Specialist to lead the people side of our business transformation, guiding teams through new processes, tools, and AI-enabled practices across engineering, supply chain and operations.

You will map current-state processes, design future-state workflows, develop role-based training, write stakeholder communications, and establish adoption metrics to ensure sustained change after go-live.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial/Operations Management, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in change management, process improvement, organizational development, business transformation, or a related field.
• Experience leading process redesign or technology-enabled change such as ERP, automation, or digital workplace rollout.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and an understanding of AI impact on organizational work.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into practical guidance for diverse audiences.

Milacron is looking for a Change Management & Process Improvement Specialist to join our team in Batavia, OH. You’ll lead the people side of our business transformation, helping teams adopt new processes, ways of working, and technologies, including enterprise systems, automation, digital tools, and AI. You’ll partner with engineering, supply chain, operations, and other business functions, along with HR and IT, to improve processes, prepare employees for change, and drive sustained adoption.

Work You’ll Do

• Develop and execute change management strategies for enterprise-wide process, organizational, cultural, and technology initiatives.
• Partner with leaders in engineering, supply chain, operations, and other functions to map current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design future-state workflows, roles, and behaviors.
• Help teams apply practical Lean tools, such as value stream mapping, visual management, 5 Whys, and structured problem solving, to improve processes and sustain gains.
• Conduct stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments, workforce readiness evaluations, and role-based skills assessments.
• Prepare employees at every level, from the plant floor to the office, for changes in tools, systems, and ways of working.
• Design and deliver role-based training that builds process discipline, digital literacy, and employee confidence.
• Write clear communications explaining the purpose, impact, benefits, and support resources for each change.
• Define and track adoption, proficiency, process performance, and business outcome metrics to measure success and value.
• Identify and address resistance, capability gaps, risks, and barriers to adoption.
• Coach leaders and managers to sponsor change, model desired behaviors, and reinforce new ways of working.
• Establish standard work, governance, and continuous improvement practices so changes stick after go-live.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial/Operations Management, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in change management, process improvement, organizational development, business transformation, or a related field.
• Experience leading process redesign or technology-enabled change, such as an ERP, enterprise system, automation, or digital workplace rollout.
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools such as Claude or Microsoft Copilot, and an understanding of how AI can change the way an organization works.
• Experience with process improvement or structured problem‑solving methods.
• Ability to translate complex process and technology concepts into clear, practical guidance for diverse audiences, including frontline employees.
• Experience developing communications, training programs, adoption plans, and success measures.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, stakeholder management, and relationship‑building skills.
• Working knowledge of Lean tools such as value stream mapping, visual management, 5 Whys, and root cause problem solving, and the ability to coach others in using them, preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Experience in agile, product-based, or iterative implementation environments preferred.
• Experience with SharePoint, Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar tools preferred.
