Job summary

Clutch Canada is looking for a Senior Manager of Engineering to lead engineering teams for our Enterprise Platform. This role requires a highly technical leader who can manage and drive teams responsible for core platform capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of engineering management experience and a deep understanding of SaaS products and cloud technologies. The position is US Remote and offers competitive compensation with an extensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a Software Engineering Management role on backend services exposing APIs.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer.
• Deep knowledge of complex, scaling SaaS products, agile processes and workflows.
• Experience architecting applications in an AWS cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operating cadence of your team(s).
• Partner with Product Management to set a clear strategic direction.
• Engage substantively in technical decisions.
• Coach, grow, and develop engineers along their career paths.
