Job summary

Zynx Health, part of the Hearst Health Network, seeks a Senior Manager, Software Development to lead software engineering execution across multiple development teams. This role directly manages Software Development Leads and ensures software delivery, quality, and release readiness while aligning practices and governance across teams.

The leader will foster organizational standards, coaching, and top-tier delivery with embedded DevOps, modern tooling, and responsible AI-assisted engineering

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development or leadership.
• 3+ years leading or managing software teams.
• Experience delivering software across multiple teams or workstreams.
• Strong understanding of modern software lifecycle practices, CI/CD, cloud-native platforms, secure delivery, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall software engineering organization through Software Development Leads.
• Coach and develop Software Development Leads with clear priorities and accountability.
• Provide cross-team leadership across multiple teams, workstreams, and platforms.
• Oversee release readiness, quality practices, resource planning, and cross-team dependencies.
• Define and monitor engineering metrics related to delivery, quality, and reliability.
