Job summary

Pinterest is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Ads Serving Platform team, responsible for delivering relevant ads reliably, efficiently, and at scale across Pinterest surfaces. You will guide the end-to-end ad-request lifecycle and collaborate with Ads and Core engineering teams.

You’ll build and mentor a high-caliber engineering group, define durable platform capabilities, modernize frameworks, and drive performance, cost efficiency, and observability while applying AI-driven analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience leading software engineering teams and delivering complex platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Ads Serving Platform team to deliver reliable, scalable ad serving across Pinterest surfaces.
• Define and execute durable platform capabilities and modernization of frameworks.
• Mentor engineers and scale technical leadership across the organization.
