Metropolis Technologies in New York is seeking a Senior Manager to lead one of our Customer Experience application teams through a rapid growth phase. As a product‑minded engineering leader, you will shape a vision, drive strategy, and inspire a distributed team to create delightful customer experiences.

You’ll collaborate with Product Management, Data Science, and User Research to build an end-to-end mobility platform, hire top talent, and foster a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience building customer-centric apps.
• Experience leading 10+ person teams and building a strong senior IC bench.
• Proven ability to execute initiatives with strategic business impact.
• Track record of cross-functional collaboration delivering customer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute on a multi-year vision and strategy for customer-facing product offerings with Product Management.
• Establish processes for reliability, experimentation, and data-informed decisions.
• Coach the engineering team for performance and growth.
• Lead hiring and set cultural standards within Metropolis Engineering.
• Foster collaboration to nurture and implement the best product and technical ideas.
• Deliver high-impact workflow, dashboard, and data-visualization applications.
• Promote customer-oriented mindset across the organization.
