The Threat Application Services (TAS) team lives at the core of the company’s mission to help build a better internet. The team builds the automated services and systems that transform the company’s massive network telemetry into actionable intelligence, empowering customers to query, investigate, and automatically mitigate attacks using the company’s unique visibility into global threat actor activity.
This role is for the Senior Engineering Manager of the Threat Application Services team within Cloudforce One’s Engineering organization. You will lead a team of high-performing engineers dedicated to building and scaling the Cloudforce One Threat Events platform, our external Threat Intel APIs, and the backend systems that integrate indicators of compromise (IOCs) directly into products like WAF and Gateway for automated mitigation. You will also lead hiring efforts to expand our engineering capabilities as we build the next generation of agentic threat intelligence tools.
You will be responsible for the architectural direction and operational excellence of the services owned by your team, ensuring our intelligence platforms meet the latency and reliability requirements of enterprise security operations. You will also drive the professional development of your direct reports and collaborate with product managers and security researchers to turn complex threat data into intuitive, automated customer experiences. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where software engineering meets security research, delivering scalable distributed systems, managing complex data pipelines, and leading teams through the transition from "getting things done" to building world-class, reliable products. This role may require flexibility to be on‑call outside of standard working hours to address technical issues as needed.
