Job summary
FIS seeks a Senior Manager of Software Engineering in Milwaukee, WI. You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering organization responsible for strategic planning, delivery, modernization, security, and operational excellence.
You will translate priorities into roadmaps, coach leaders, and ensure measurable client and business value, including cloud modernization and secure delivery across multiple teams.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of leadership experience.
- Experience leading managers, technical leaders, software and quality engineers.
- Ability to develop technology strategies and lead modernization initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, DevSecOps, testing, release management, observability and production support.
- Executive-level communication and influence with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute engineering roadmaps aligned with product strategy and modernization objectives.
- Lead software and quality engineering teams through all lifecycle stages.
- Drive modernization of enterprise data and analytics platforms with cloud adoption and automation.
- Own delivery outcomes, monitoring quality, reliability, security, and release readiness.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, service delivery and leadership to inform investments.
