Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to own the Salesforce Management Plane (SFMP), a security-conscious framework enabling safe, day-2 production changes via REST APIs for internal service owners. You will lead a distributed team with a focus on reliability and governance.

In this role you’ll partner with product, drive the SFMP roadmap, mentor engineers, and champion observability, incident response, and compliance at scale across the fleet, including RBAC and least-privilege

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record leading platform, infrastructure, or developer-tools teams with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong grounding in production operations, security and access control (RBAC, least-privilege).

Responsibilities

• Own Salesforce Management Plane (SFMP) with safety-first production change governance.
• Partner with Product to drive SFMP roadmap including auto-discovery and secure access controls.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a distributed engineering team; foster security-first culture.
• Champion observability, incident response, and compliance with metrics on adoption and reliability.
