Job summary

Genius AI in New York City is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to own multi‑team execution and set technical direction as the platform expands. You will report to the Director of Engineering and operate in a hybrid environment, commuting to the NYC headquarters 3–4 days per week with in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You will lead AI-enabled initiatives, grow engineering leaders, and partner with product and design to ship impactful features from conception to launch.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience with at least 3 years leading software teams.
• Experience integrating AI tooling into engineering workflows.
• Strong technical judgment for architectural trade-offs.
• Strong business acumen and customer-centric instincts.
• Proven ability to ship from 0 to 1 with cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing engineers into leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own execution across multiple teams, drive multi-team initiatives to completion.
• Embed AI tooling into team workflows to accelerate development.
• Partner with product and design to own 0-to-1 initiatives from inception through launch.
• Shape the technical vision for the domain and anticipate platform needs.
• Build the next generation of engineering leaders and mentors.
• Collaborate with recruiting to attract and retain strong engineers.
