Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for our Advanced Nuclear Division, located in Kennesaw, GA or other ENERCON offices. You will lead the Engineering Unit to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality, while driving innovation and continuous improvement.

You will mentor staff, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development. A PE license and 10+ years in power engineering are required, with experience in BIM/3D modeling and IPD a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• 10+ years of design engineering experience in the Power Industry.
• Active PE license.
• Experience with Advanced Nuclear and Small Modular Reactor technologies is strongly desired.
• Experience with design of power plant systems.
• Experience with BIM/3D models for major plant systems.
• Experience with IPD or similar large-scale delivery methods.
• Knowledge of applicable government codes and industry standards.
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure schedules, budgets, and quality of deliverables for the Engineering Unit.
• Provide technical leadership and resolve issues with SMEs.
• Lead business development, proposal preparation, and client relations.
• Recruit, hire, develop and retain staff; identify future leaders; promote training opportunities.
• Meet applied time goals for self and staff; ensure accountability for project delivery.
