• Proven leadership as Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or Senior Engineer in SaaS.

An innovative and fast-growing B2B SaaS company is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to help shape the future of software development through AI-first engineering practices. This role is ideal for a technically hands-on leader who combines strong engineering fundamentals with a passion for generative AI tooling, modern developer workflows, and high-performing teams.

The company is undergoing a major transformation toward "agentic engineering," where AI becomes an integral part of the full software development lifecycle - from requirements and architecture to implementation, testing, review, and deployment. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving this evolution across both the engineering team and the wider organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a cross-functional engineering team of approximately 8 software engineers
• Actively contribute to software development through hands-on coding, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted and agentic software development workflows across the engineering organization
• Champion modern engineering practices leveraging tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI development platforms
• Coach and mentor engineers through technical growth, career development, and performance management
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to deliver scalable and high-quality SaaS solutions
• Help evolve development processes, team workflows, and engineering culture toward AI-native delivery models
• Support the development and operation of enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring, TypeScript, React, and AWS
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing engineering environment

Must-Have:

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or Senior Software Engineer in modern SaaS environments
• Strong hands-on software engineering background with the ability and willingness to contribute directly to code
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, and cloud-native environments such as AWS
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, CI/CD, testing, and scalable architecture
• Experience leading teams through engineering methodology or tooling transformations
• Strong people leadership skills including coaching, feedback, hiring, and performance management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Based in the EU or able to work within EU time zones

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience introducing AI-native or agentic engineering workflows within an engineering organization
• Background in enterprise B2B SaaS platforms
• Previous experience scaling engineering teams in high-growth environments
