Job summary

Storm3 HealthTech is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for the Treatments Platform to guide backend microservices, AI-powered features, and scalable production systems. This remote-first leadership role collaborates with engineering, product, and clinical teams to drive technical excellence and user outcomes.

You will mentor engineers, shape system architecture, and maintain high engineering standards while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver top-tier member experiences.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with 3+ years leading technical teams.
• Strong backend foundation including microservices, APIs, SQL and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted workflows and scalable production systems.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Healthcare or regulated environment exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing engineering team within a fast-paced environment.
• Drive scalable architecture design, reviews, and performance optimization for production systems.
• Champion AI integration, including generative and predictive AI features, to optimize platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with product and operations to prioritize initiatives based on business impact and system health metrics.
• Establish processes for observability, incident management, and continuous delivery.
• Foster a culture of high-quality engineering, automation, and innovation.
• Take on additional responsibilities such as on-call rotations and strategic planning.
