Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineering leader to guide and grow the local engineering leadership team across a multi-state market. You will work from property-level engineers to support the national engineering platform implementation.

You will partner with property managers and chief engineers to drive safety, quality assurance, energy management, and sustainable practices while coordinating training and maintenance programs to reduce downtime and operating costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Proven leadership experience in engineering management across multiple states.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the engineering team in a multi-state market; establishing a local engineering leadership team from property-level engineers.
• Coordinate and plan at least quarterly engineering meetings; develop training materials to ensure compliance with industry and national engineering process requirements.
• Assist with development, implementation and monitoring of technical programs, policies and procedures for National Operations and Engineering.
• Collaborate with Property Managers and Chief Engineers on safety, quality assurance, sustainability, energy management and related disciplines.
• Develop property/system specific technical and administrative training for on-site engineering personnel.
• Establish preventative maintenance programs with operations staff to reduce downtime and optimize costs while protecting assets.
• Submit and obtain client approval for critical environment work authorizations; detail shutdown plans for equipment serving critical spaces.
• Build a network of consultants for specialized needs beyond operations staff, such as MEP design, environmental, structural, and architectural services.
• Contribute to scope definition, contract negotiations and bid reviews for service and capital projects.
• Provide guidance on HVAC, MEP systems, Fire & Life Safety, Automation, Security and OSHA compliance.
• Assist responses to RFPs/RFIs and participate in new business presentations and site assessments.
• Analyze multiple work orders and asset data to identify improvements for the R&M program.
• Lead local recruitment to identify candidates and maintain a talent pool.
