Gradian is seeking a Product Development Engineering Manager to lead technology development, innovation, and pre-commercial engineering. The role focuses on turning ideas into proven technologies for New Product Development and commercialization, aligning with customer needs, market trends, and manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in HVAC, mechanical systems, or product development.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience leading New Product Development from concept to launch.
• Experience with design validation, testing, and product qualification methodologies.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Own the technology roadmap for future HVAC products and systems.
• Lead NPD stage-gate process from concept through launch.
• Drive design reviews, gate approvals, and on-time execution of development programs.
• Provide technical leadership for design and product architecture.
• Oversee prototype builds and validation testing.
• Drive standardization across product lines and scalable platforms.
• Lead, coach, and develop PD engineers and product teams.
• Improve development cycle times and capture lessons learned.
