Job summary

KoBold is seeking a Senior Engineering & Integration Manager to lead the engineering delivery for the Mingomba copper project in Zambia. You will be the technical authority through design and construction, reporting to the Project Director, and safeguarding KoBold's interests across owner, EPCM, and contractors.

You will set design standards, manage risk, drive constructability and operability reviews, and guide stage-gate decisions to ensure a safe, maintainable, and cost-effective mine.

Responsibilities

• Hold and exercise design authority on behalf of KoBold across all disciplines.
• Establish the basis of design, engineering standards, and criteria for the project.
• Own the technical risk register and drive resolution of engineering risks.
• Approve key engineering deliverables including P&IDs and equipment datasheets.
• Direct the scope freeze process and manage design decisions to prevent scope growth.
• Act as KoBold's senior technical interface to the EPCM and manage performance.
• Lead constructability, operability, and value engineering reviews.
• Oversee engineering integration across disciplines and ensure coherent end-to-end design.
• Own process safety and hazard management within the engineering dimension.
