Job summary

BNY Mellon seeks a Senior Director, Engineering Group Leader to guide the Managed Account Solutions Platform engineering portfolio in Berwyn, PA or New York. You will set direction for execution, modernization, and delivery performance.

You will build and lead global teams, drive scalable, secure solutions, and align engineering priorities with product, architecture, risk and senior leadership to improve client outcomes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 15+ years leading large-scale engineering organizations in complex enterprises.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong track record delivering modernization and platform transformation at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead a critical engineering portfolio across the Managed Account Solutions Platform, setting direction for execution and delivery performance.
• Build and lead global engineering teams with strong organizational design and technical capability.
• Drive scalable, resilient, and secure technology solutions improving outcomes and client experience.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Operations, Risk and business leadership to align investments with priorities.
• Advance engineering excellence through modern software practices and quality disciplines.
• Identify and scale automation and AI-enabled capabilities to boost productivity and outcomes.
• Govern risk, controls, and operations with strong governance and resilience across the portfolio.
• Manage budgets, workforce planning, and investment priorities to meet strategic plans.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.
• Represent the organization in senior leadership forums and translate priorities into business value.
