Job summary

Nox Group is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the Project Development Department and bridge design intent with field execution on CMAR, Design-Build, and delegated design projects. This senior role reports to executive leadership and shapes engineering strategy across multiple delivery methods.

Responsibilities include leading engineering teams, ensuring design compliance, and coordinating with Operations during startups and commissioning.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of industry-related experience in design or construction engineering on large, complex industrial projects; 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience delivering projects through Design-Build, CMAR, or delegated design.
• Proficiency with codes and standards (NEC, IBC, NFPA 70E).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the Engineering Department, set strategy and staff projects with engineers.
• Own design-phase technical execution from SD through IFC and coordinate with design and construction teams.
• Provide technical support to Operations, manage submittals, RFIs, and commissioning plans.
