Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California seeks an Engineering Design Data Reviewer to join the EDMG within the Mechanical, Electrical & PLM Solutions Engineering group. You’ll ensure drawings and CAD models meet requirements, support release processes, and collaborate with engineers and designers on drawing standards and change management.

The role emphasizes independent work, meticulous review of documents, and strong communication to resolve non-compliances and drive engineering data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field with related experience.
• Ability to work independently in a high-demand environment.
• Meticulous attention to engineering drawings and models against specs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to inform engineers/designers of non-compliances.
• Understand engineering drawings format, conventions, and BOMs.
• Familiarity with drawing types (detail, assembly, interface).
• Knowledge of part/drawing numbers and revisions.
• Experience with configuration/change management principles.
• Experience with PLM/ICM systems.
• Knowledge of SAE EIA 649 and ASME Y14 drawing standards.
• Experience with JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed reviews of drawings and models against requirements.
• Process Engineering Change Orders for released drawings.
• Facilitate release of vendor drawings in JPL systems.
• Communicate drawing format and drawing numbers; ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop customer guides on engineering release and PLM processes.
