Job summary

Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena seeks an Engineering Design Data Reviewer to ensure drawings and CAD models meet institutional requirements. You will review, process changes, and facilitate releases within PLM/ICM frameworks, coordinating with engineers and vendors to maintain data integrity.

The role requires strong attention to detail, extensive experience with engineering drawings, and excellent communication to resolve non-compliances and improve documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related with minimum 6 years experience.
• Masters with minimum 4 years; PhD with minimum 2 years.
• Ability to work independently in a high-demand environment.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented review of drawings and models against requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication with engineers and designers about non-compliances.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, formats, BOMs, and revisions.
• Experience with configuration management and change management.
• In-depth experience with PLM or ICM systems.
• Advanced knowledge of SAE EIA 649 and ASME Y14 series.
• Experience with JIRA tool.

Responsibilities

• Performing detailed reviews of drawings and models against requirements.
• Processing Engineering Change Orders against released drawings.
• Facilitating release of vendor drawings in JPL system.
• Communicating with customers regarding drawing format and compliance with standards.
• Developing guides on engineering release and PLM tool processes.
