Job summary

Rutgers University is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator (Community Engagement) in the School of Engineering to coordinate the academic integration of community-engaged student design projects. You will work with faculty advisors, the Provost's Office, and community partners to ensure alignment with ABET outcomes and badge standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM with community outreach experience.
• Experience engaging with academic stakeholders and external partners.
• Understanding of ABET outcomes and program standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering validation and academic integration of community-engaged student projects across the School of Engineering.
• Support senior design and course-embedded projects as well as student organization community engagement work.
• Partner with faculty advisors, the Provost's Office and community organizations to embed community voice in the design cycle.
• Coordinate with the School of Engineering Development Team on industry sponsorship and in-kind project support.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and organizing community engagement activities.
• Bring experience with engineering design, analysis, prototyping, or testing and familiarity with ABET outcomes.
