Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows is seeking a Senior Engineering Change Coordinator to serve as the Configuration Management SME. You will establish CM standards, drive data integrity, and ensure traceability of TDPs and BOMs from design to manufacturing execution.

You will lead the CM framework, oversee ECRs/ECOs, deviations, and waivers, and ensure alignment between as-designed and as-built specifications across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent).
• 6+ years of hands-on configuration management, engineering document control, or PDM in engineering or manufacturing.
• Deep experience with PLM/PDM and ERP platforms, multi-level BOM structures, revision control logic, and technical drawing packages.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 or similar quality/configuration standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive and implement the configuration management framework with standardized processes and tools.
• Lead configuration identification and maintain baselines across the product lifecycle.
• Oversee end-to-end change workflow including ECRs, ECOs, deviations, and waivers.
• Perform configuration status accounting and lead PCAs to verify alignment between as-designed and as-built specs.
• Control part data, engineering/manufacturing BOMs, drawings, and TDPs in PLM/PDM and ERP systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Programs to resolve CM issues.
• Serve as CM SME and mentor teams on best practices.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Change Coordinator to serve as our Configuration Management (CM) Subject Matter Expert. In this role, you will establish and maintain CM standards, drive product data integrity, and ensure complete traceability of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs) from initial design through manufacturing execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and execute our configuration management framework. Establish standardized processes, tools, and procedures that guarantee absolute data integrity, regulatory compliance, and continuous operational improvement.
• Lead configuration identification and maintain precise product baselines across every phase of the product lifecycle.
• Oversee and manage the end-to-end change workflow-including ECRs, ECOs, deviations, and waivers.
• Perform configuration status accounting and lead physical configuration audits (PCAs) to verify seamless alignment between as-designed and as-built specifications.
• Control part data, Engineering and Manufacturing BOMs, drawings, and Technical Data Packages within enterprise PLM/PDM and ERP systems.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program teams to resolve configuration issues and drive smooth implementation of approved changes.
• Serve as the company's primary SME for Configuration Management, mentoring teams and championing best practices.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Experience: 6+ years of hands‑on experience in configuration management, engineering document control, or product data management within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• System Expertise: Deep experience with enterprise PLM/PDM and ERP platforms, strong command of multi-level BOM structures, revision control logic, and technical drawing packages.
• Quality Standards: Working knowledge or experience operating under ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar rigorous quality and configuration management standards.
• Skills: Exceptional attention to technical detail, strong organizational ability, and outstanding cross-functional collaboration skills.

Additional Information

Hiring Range $95,000 - $115,000 Annual salary. Final salary will be determined by skills, experience and internal equity.
