Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience designing parts for sheet metal and plastics.
• Understanding of codes and regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in stackup, GD&T and DFx methodologies.
• Strong product development and project management skills.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturability and assembly.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Basic systems engineering understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of components/subsystems for HMI and mechatronics.
• Generate and review concepts at module level to improve cost and quality.
• Collaborate with Eng, Manufacturing and Supply Chain on DFMA.
• Develop interfaces between electronic and mechanical parts.
• Perform tolerance stack analyses for reliable assembly.
• Lead feasibility studies for NPD and prototype development.
• Learn GD&T/DFSS tools and support verification activities.
• Coordinate with global teams on design reviews and releases.
