At Verdantas, your career goes beyond the expected, and your work helps build a better world.We are seeking a ***Senior Engineer - Water Resources*** to join our team within our ***Florida Operations in either our Tampa or Orlando*** offices.Join our dynamic company to maintain, develop and grow an organization of engaged staff in our area’s Natural Resources and Environmental Permitting practice group using your ability to organize and lead a team of technical practitioners through major technical project pursuits through a strong work ethic and business acumen, as well as excellent client service and business development skills to take your career to the next level.**RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Lead and grow a team of water resource professionals and support staff.* Managing project delivery and meeting client expectations.* Performing water resources assessments.* Analyzing and interpreting water and environmental resources data.* Developing and reviewing models (e.g., hydrologic, hydraulic, hydrodynamic, physical habitat, etc.)* Preparing and reviewing scientific reports.* Preparing and presenting proposals and marketing plans.* Presenting and actively participating in relevant professional organizations.**QUALIFICATIONS:*** Bachelor's degree in Civil/Water Resources Engineering, Geology (Hydrogeology), or similar Hydro Science degree and 15+ years of experience.
