A leading engineering firm is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the engineering and design of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 7-12 years of relevant experience in power systems and renewables. This hybrid position offers a salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 along with an excellent benefits package including health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 7‑12+ years of relevant experience in power systems, renewables, or energy storage.
• Demonstrated experience in utility‑scale BESS or solar + storage projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and design of utility‑scale BESS projects.
• Develop and review key design deliverables, including one‑line diagrams.
• Support interconnection processes and utility coordination.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
