Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Engineer to lead design, optimization and reliability of utilities systems powering life-changing therapies. You will develop policies, supervise contractors, and collaborate with global teams to deliver complex projects on schedule and budget.

Ideal candidates hold a doctorate or advanced engineering degree with relevant experience in GMP environments, FDA regulatory awareness, and validated utility systems expertise.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, or Master’s with 2 years of Eng./Mfg Support experience, or Bachelor’s with 4 years of Eng./Mfg Support experience.
• Deep knowledge in Clean Utilities Gases and HVAC.
• Experience with FDA Water Regulation and GMP regulatory audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, optimization, and reliability of systems and equipment powering therapies.
• Develop engineering policies and procedures affecting multiple units.
• Supervise contractors/suppliers and coordinate project work.
• Coordinate with global teams across engineering, manufacturing, and facilities to meet design, budget, and quality targets.
