This full-time position involves designing state and local roadway improvement projects, managing project scope, budgets, and client relationships, and mentoring staff. The role is based in Ellsworth, Salina, Cheney, or Garden City, Kansas, and reports to the Transportation Design Manager.

Responsibilities include:

1. Developing project scope and fees.
2. Handling client services and marketing.
3. Coordinating and mentoring staff.
4. Performing quality control reviews.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Professional Civil Engineer or eligible for licensure in Kansas.
• 5-10 years of transportation design experience, project management experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Understanding of roadway design criteria.
• Valid Driver's License.
