Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering with 3+ years (or 5+ yrs) in systems engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience with IMA and IPS system-level developments.
  • At least 3 years of experience with avionics and aircraft subsystems.
  • Experience operating avionics test facilities (rigs and simulations) with scripted and unscripted flight tests.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Requirements, Test Cases, System Verification and interface with the customer and other domains who are part of the Avionics solutions.
  • Serve as the System's Integrator on the C909 (ARJ21) program, integrating all systems and software that are part of the company's Avionics solution.
  • Interface with the customer to capture design details of the EICAS subsystem and allocate the requirements to the broader Systems teams and the EICAS subsystem.
  • Develop test cases and procedures to test the system and answer customer questions.
  • Coordinate domain development activities to ensure they are developing the correct scope and meeting schedule.
  • Control the conformity of the Systems Integration Facility.
Qualifications
  • At least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive experience as a Systems Engineer or related role; alternatively a master’s degree with at least 3 years of experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience with IMA and IPS System Level Developments.
  • At least 3 years of experience with avionics and aircraft sub-systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience operating Avionics test facilities (rigs and simulations) executing scripted and unscripted flight test scenarios.
  • At least 3 years of experience with systems tools such as JIRA, DOORS, JAMA.
  • Non-US Person must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position.
Benefits

The salary range is $157,269.00 to $165,200.00 USD per year. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
