Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Sustaining Engineer to advance production processes for hybrid microelectronics.

You will work with multiple teams to drive improvements in delivery, quality, and cost while supporting hermetic sealing, ESS, and automated assembly equipment. The role requires a BS in engineering, 5+ years in electronics manufacturing, knowledge of MIL standards, and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience in electronics manufacturing.
  • U.S. Citizenship or ability to obtain security clearance; active clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, perform, and report on projects to improve delivery, quality, and cost metrics.
  • Collaborate across engineering, operations, quality, supply chain and management to meet goals.
  • Support hermetic sealing and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) processes and root-cause corrective actions.
  • Establish new processes and improve current ones across hand assembly, epoxy cure ovens, laser/seam sealing, ESS testing, and die attach using Datacon.

Learn more at www.analog.com and on LinkedIn and X.Analog Devices Federal LLC(ADFED), a wholly owned subsidiary of Analog Devices, Inc., is searching for a **Senior Process Engineer** to support the manufacture of complex hybrid microelectronics for commercial, space, and military applications.**Responsibilities**:* Plan, perform, and report on projects targeted at improving delivery, quality, and cost metrics of production programs with the support of senior members of the team.* Collaborate across the organization with different engineering functions, operations, quality, supply chain, and management to ensure goals are met.* Support hermetic sealing and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) processes as well as support design, continuous improvement, and root-cause corrective action tasks among various other efforts.* Establish new processes, improving current process, and supporting the competency of operations across the following: + Hand assembly + Epoxy cure ovens + Laser and seam sealing systems + Environmental (ESS) testing + Automated and manual die attach (Datacon)The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of electronics construction with a strong aptitude and interest in working with automated and manual assembly equipment as well as the communication skills required to work with various team members.**Qualifications:*** Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience* 5+ years' experience in electronics manufacturing* Understanding of MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534, and other associated standards preferred* Prior experience working in a highly controlled medical or defense manufacturing area preferred.* Good communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions, interpret equipment manuals and process documentation.* General working knowledge of automated processing equipment preferred.* Good hand-eye coordination for work under a microscope is necessary.* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Minitab statistical software, and AutoCAD or related modeling software.* U.S. Citizenship is required.* Active security clearance or a willingness to apply for a security clearance is required.*For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
