Job summary
American Health Packaging is seeking a Sr Engineer in Juncos, Puerto Rico to independently provide and direct engineering strategies concerning process optimization and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will possess a Doctorate or a Master’s degree with 2 years, or a Bachelor’s with 4 years of engineering experience, and have a working knowledge of pharmaceutical processes. The role involves collaboration with multiple departments and developing technical solutions within project constraints. This position offers a fixed-term contract and supports ECHO Consulting Group.
Qualifications
Experience in parenteral products, vision system, device assembly, and packaging.
Ability to interpret and apply GLPs and GMPs.
Comprehensive understanding of validation protocol execution requirements.
Responsibilities
Provide and/or direct process optimization strategies.
Develop technical solutions for complex problems.
Coordinate the work of consultants and engineering firms.
Supervise and review the work of engineers and technicians.
Skills
Working knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech processes
Familiarity with validation processes
Ability to operate specialized laboratory equipment
Problem solving and applied engineering
Technical report writing
Verbal communication
Education
Doctorate or Masters + 2 years of Engineering experience OR Bachelor's in engineering + 4 years of Engineering experience
