Job summary

BioPharma Consulting JAD Group is seeking a Senior Engineer to independently lead process optimization strategies and troubleshoot operational issues in Juncos, Puerto Rico. This role requires advanced engineering principles to implement system modifications and ensure alignment with quality and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have a doctorate or a master's plus two years of experience, focusing on pharmaceutical and biotech processes. Responsibilities include technical presentation, mentorship, and cross-departmental collaboration in this critical role.

Qualifications

• Doctorate OR Master's degree + 2 years of engineering experience OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering + 4 years of engineering experience.
• Established expertise in at least three engineering technology areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the characterization of process optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to define engineering requirements.
• Supervise and mentor engineers and technicians.
• Develop and present technical interpretations for projects.

Skills

Working knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech processes

Strong problem-solving and applied engineering skills

Technical report writing and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience with schedule development and cross-functional collaboration

Education

Master's degree in Engineering + 2 years of engineering experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering + 4 years of engineering experience
