Job summary

Badger Meter is seeking a Senior Engineer, Systems Integration in Milwaukee to own investigations and lead projects across its monitoring platform. You will shape scope, estimate efforts, and mentor engineers while ensuring reliability, security, and scalability of OTA, firmware, and cloud services.

You will collaborate on ML-driven initiatives, data pipelines, and data interfaces, delivering real-time visibility for platform health and customer support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in engineering, data, or ML domains.
• Strong foundations in engineering fundamentals and problem solving.
• Experience with Grafana, SQL, NoSQL, Python, Elasticsearch, and C# or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations and define scopes, budgets, and schedules for large projects.
• Design, build, and maintain ML pipelines, anomaly detection, and deployment tooling.
• Manage OTA updates, device management, and cloud-based monitoring dashboards.
