The Ohio State University is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Medical Modeling, Materials, and Manufacturing focus within CDME. You will lead R&D efforts, scope projects with industry partners, and manage the entire engineering process from concept to delivery.

You will author technical reports and sponsor proposals, collaborate with OSU faculty and students, and help drive funding and project milestones within ISO-aligned practices. Background checks may apply.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Industrial Design; Master’s preferred.
• Experience in professional research including proposal writing and customer engagement.

Mansioni

• Lead R&D projects in medical device development and design.
• Scope projects and statements of work with customers.
• Manage full sales process and relate budgets and schedules.
• Write technical reports and sponsor proposals as lead author.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary tasks with faculty, staff and students.
• Mentor and supervise student employees; support CDME programs.
• Identify funding opportunities and present results at conferences.
