Require a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering, 5+ years' experience in design and construction, and willingness to travel 40%. Relocation may be required for project sites.

Location:

Troy (Base Office), relocation to project site(s) as required by project schedule.

Summary:

As a Sr. Engineer, Mechanical/Electrical, you will support mechanical and electrical construction activities for manufacturing and facility projects. This position is responsible for coordinating the installation, inspection, and testing of mechanical and electrical systems across multiple facility construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Support mechanical and electrical construction and installation activities for manufacturing facilities.
• Plan and execute engineering studies related to the design, construction, and commissioning of facilities and systems.
• Analyze feasibility of designing new plant equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors, utilizing professional engineering theory and practices.
• Perform as a project manager and provide leadership on assigned projects.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organization.
• Design and specify equipment and system components.
• Support advanced troubleshooting and develop design solutions.
• Mentor and train other engineers, technicians, and operators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field required
• Willing to travel 40% domestically and internationally, and to relocate based on project

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering design, construction, and maintenance of industrial facilities
• Experience in the manufacturing industry
• Experience working in a global company or corporation
• Able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate global time zones
