Job Description: MDM Developer

Role Overview: The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the MDM platform, demonstrating deep, practical knowledge beyond just data pushing into MDM. This is an experienced MDM Developer role, not an ETL Developer position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Configure and customize Informatica SAS MDM to implement the Party Model, including defining entity types, relationships, business rules, match and merge strategies, and user interfaces.
2. Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to design and maintain the data model for party-related entities, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
3. Integrate data from various sources into Informatica SAS MDM via IDMC, performing profiling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure quality and integrity.
4. Work with Reference 360 within the MDM domain.
5. Implement match and merge rules to consolidate duplicate records, providing a single, accurate view of each entity.
6. Define and execute data quality rules and workflows to monitor and improve data quality across party data.
7. Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks within the SAS MDM system for efficient data operations.
8. Conduct unit and integration testing to validate configurations and data accuracy within the MDM repository.
9. Maintain technical documentation, including design specs, configuration guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
10. Create UNIX shell scripts for automating Informatica jobs, backups, etc.
11. Work with SFTP/SSH for file transfer and loading using SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL*Loader.

Position Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in MDM development, specifically with Informatica MDM and Party Model implementation.
• Experience with Reference 360 within the MDM domain.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica SAS MDM application.
• Experience with CAI, CDI, and CDQ.
• In-depth knowledge of Informatica’s SAS MDM tools, including IDMC, for party entities.
• Familiarity with data modeling and integration techniques.
• Strong understanding of data quality management and governance in MDM.
• Proficiency in data profiling, cleansing, and transformation.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of Data Warehouses/Lakehouse architectures, Data Quality, and Data Integration.
