About the role:

You will participate in ambitious software development projects with a top client in the energy industry, dedicating 50% of your efforts as a Scrum Master and 50% as a Data Engineer, prioritizing Scrum Master activities.

Main Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
• Strong experience in Scrum practices and principles: leading daily stand-ups, refinement sessions, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Proven experience in Project Management within software development environments and a solid understanding of the software development cycle
• Ability to monitor project timelines, milestones, and team capacity for sprint and PI planning
• Ensuring efficient workflow and communication within the team, supporting Product Owners and non-technical stakeholders
• User story creation: gathering requirements, writing clear and concise user stories
• Managing the product backlog on Azure DevOps and maintaining PBIs
• Preparing and presenting weekly management updates
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish & English and strong teamwork abilities

As a Data Engineer:

• Review team monitoring reports to identify issues and create PBIs for resolution
• Monitor DataBricks jobs and ADF pipelines
• Strong Python skills
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services and Azure Data Factory
• Focus on system maintenance and creating PBIs for fixes

Nice-to-have skills:

• Certification in project management (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP)
• Background in AI, data science, or related fields
