Job summary

ASM International is seeking a Senior Engineer II for Enterprise Applications focusing on User Experience EUC. You will own the EUC platform strategy, engineering, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise workplace technologies, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable solutions across regions.

You will lead endpoint architecture, manage Microsoft 365 services, and drive automation to reduce manual work while aligning with UX-driven experience goals.

Responsibilities

• Act as the global authority for EUC platforms across all regions
• Own EUC services including Microsoft 365 and collaboration platforms
• Ensure EUC platform security, compliance & risk management
• Own the engineering and reliability of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive)
• Drive automation to reduce manual operations and optimize endpoint health and lifecycle management
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Regional IT Operations, and other stakeholders to translate business priorities into platform capabilities
• Own EUC platform cost, consumption, and licensing optimization

Role Purpose

The Senior Engineer II, User Experience EUC S erves as the global owner for End User Computing (EUC) platforms, responsible for the strategy, engineering, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise workplace technologies.

This role acts as the single authority for EUC platform architecture and engineering, ensuring solutions are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business and user experience needs.

The role complements the User Experience EUC Lead by owning the platform and engineering layer, enabling consistent delivery of end-user experience across regions.

Responsibilities :

1. Act as the global authority for EUC platforms across all regions

• Own EUC services covering:
• Microsoft 365 and collaboration platforms
• broader EUC ecosystem, including but not limited to solutions such as Threat Locker
• Own the full-service lifecycle:
• Ensure global scalability while supporting regional operational and compliance needs
• Supports regional operations by resolving platform-level incidents and implementing long-term fixes.
• Responsible for platform implementation and technical decisions, aligned to experience requirements defined by the UX function.
• Endpoint Engineering & Architecture
• Own global endpoint architecture for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
• Lead engineering standards across:
• Windows platform lifecycle
• Endpoint configuration and compliance baselines
• Patch, vulnerability, and device lifecycle management
• Drive zero-touch provisioning and automated endpoint operations
• Microsoft Workplace Platform (M365)
• Own the engineering and reliability of Microsoft 365 services:
• Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive
• Ensure platform stability, adoption, governance, and cost optimization
• Drive integration between identity, endpoint, and collaboration services
• Security, Compliance & Risk (EUC Scope)
• Ensure EUC platforms align with enterprise security requirements
• Own remediation of endpoint-related risks, including:
• Privilege misuse
• Misconfigurations
• Conditional access
• Endpoint protection
• Privileged access enforcement
• Eliminatemanual operations through automation:
• Policy-driven remediation
• Self-healing endpoints
• Own monitoring and observability:
• Endpoint health
• Compliance posture
• Platform performance
• Decision Authority & Governance
• Act as the final decision authority for:
• Platform standards
• Toolselectionand engineering approach
• Enforce global standards across regional IT and service providers
• Govern engineering quality, consistency, and long-term platform sustainability
• Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
• Serve as the primary escalation point for major EUC platform issues
