We are looking for a Digital Solutions Engineer to join our growing Global Spares and Services organization. In this role, you will play a critical part in enabling Field Service teams with the data, knowledge, and digital tools needed to improve service efficiency, drive first‑time‑right outcomes, and reduce equipment installation and maintenance cycle times at customer sites.

This is a highly cross‑functional role at the intersection of data engineering, application development, and operational enablement, ideal for someone who enjoys solving real‑world problems by integrating systems and building impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop internal digital applications and tools that streamline and digitize installation, maintenance, and service workflows
• Enable analytics use cases by structuring and modeling data for reporting, dashboards, and operational decision‑making
• Consolidate and deliver knowledge from multiple sources into user‑friendly tools and applications for field teams
• Build and manage data pipelines that integrate data from enterprise systems, vendor sources, and operational environments to support analytics and business insights
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Service, IT, Product) to deliver scalable, high‑impact solutions
• Enhance user experience and usability of tools used by field engineers, focusing on simplicity, reliability, and efficiency
• Partner with IT and platform teams to ensure integration, deployment, and ongoing support of solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional industry experience
• Experience in data integration
• Experience with mobile / handheld devices and web application development
• Experience building internal tools, applications, or automation solutions
• Strong programming skills in Python (required); experience with modern C++ is a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)

Preferred Qualifications (Nice‑to‑Have)

• Experience building engineering tools, diagnostic interfaces, or HMIs (e.g., Python frameworks, LabVIEW)
• Familiarity with knowledge management systems or search platforms
• Exposure to AI/ML or GenAI‑enabled applications
