The candidate will collaborate with Offer, Sales, and GSC teams to optimize engineering and manufacturing processes, aiming to minimize lead times and improve supplier resiliency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Experience with Low Voltage Draw-Out products is preferred.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience in related roles.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, prioritize, and resolve product support requests (MOTS, PDCRs, ACE tickets).
  • Support project engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality, and procurement to meet lead times and reduce errors.
  • Perform standard record changes based on investigations of design issues.
  • Assist with deviation requests, obsolescence of designs, supplier changes, and PPAP/First Article inspections.
  • Maintain knowledge of codes and standards (UL, ANSI, NEC) for designs across North America.

Job description

The Technical Antenna (TA) is dedicated to completing assignments that focus on investigating issues and recommending corrective action(s) and the maintenance of engineering records for standard product offerings. Execute approved recommendations (i.e., create/revise records in Creo and/or PDM). Create/write Change Notices and submit for validation. The TAs will provide essential support to our manufacturing plants supporting the product range, in resolving ongoing issues and enhancing supplier resiliency.

This position will report to the Manager, Technical Antenna & Product Specialist, structured to the Engineered-To-Order (ETO) Simplification Team, dedicated to collaborating with the Offer, Sales, and Global Supply Chain (GSC) teams to optimize engineering and manufacturing processes. The team’s goal is to align closely with customer demand to minimize product lead times.

Key responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, prioritize, and resolve the product support requests such as, MOTS (Middle Office Technical Support), PDCRs (Product Design Change Request), and review ACE tickets (Application Coded Equipment)
  • Support product lines and teams - Project Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Procurement to attain lead times and reduce errors
  • Performs standard record changes based on priorities and investigations related to standard design issues.
  • Support CS&Q (Customer Satisfaction & Quality) Team with deviation (eDerogations) requests, obsolescence of designs, CoS (Change of Suppliers), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), FAIR (First Article Inspection Report), 3F analysis (Fit, Form & Function) and Product Audits.
  • Maintains an up-to-date, thorough knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal codes/regulations and interprets and applies industry standards (UL, ANSI, NEC) to new designs across North America (Canada, USA, and Mexico).
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experienced in the design, applications, and/or installation of Low Voltage Draw-Out products.
  • Proficient in Creo, PDM, Order Editor, ACE, and SAP.
  • Proficient in 3D tolerance analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
  • Accountable, initiative-taking, with solid and pragmatic problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to collaborate with remote teams and management.
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse workplace with people from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience.
