Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking a Senior Engineer to provide technical leadership across planning, design and execution of utility infrastructure projects. You will mentor junior engineers and ensure safety, reliability and compliance while guiding strategic initiatives.

The role involves leading complex studies, managing budgets and schedules, and engaging with stakeholders. The position may require extended hours during energy delivery emergencies and storms.

Qualifications

B.S. in Engineering or PE license required.
Ability to analyze complex electrical/mechanical systems.
Knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and practices.
7+ years of professional engineering experience; advanced specialty knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead advanced electric, gas, and/or communications system analyses.
Develop engineering strategies for grid modernization.
Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for major projects.
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
Conduct field inspections and resolve high-impact technical challenges.
