Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead planning, design and execution of utility projects across electric/gas networks. You will mentor junior engineers, drive grid modernization efforts, and ensure safety and reliability while managing budgets and schedules.

You will conduct field inspections, coordinate with stakeholders, and guide technical analyses to support complex upgrades and expansions. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or PE licensure.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of engineering designs, principles, and practices.
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
• PE license or advanced degree can reduce required OJT experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads and performs assignments requiring extensive engineering expertise.
• Leads projects with significant financial and operational impact.
• Evaluates complex technical issues and recommends actions.
