Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Engineer, Edge-Cloud Reliability, to own a critical hub-and-spoke contract between cloud and on-prem edge nodes. You will ensure parity, support DDIL conditions, and lead a sub-team with Go/Rust/Python expertise and GCP knowledge.

The role requires a strong software background, distributed-systems fundamentals, cloud depth, and willingness to travel; leadership and mentorship responsibilities are also included.

Qualifications

Active U.S. Top Secret / SCI clearance
Software development background mandatory
Strong proficiency in Go, Rust or Python and distributed-systems fundamentals
Cloud architecture depth with GCP preference and edge/on-prem experience
Willing to travel as needed

Responsibilities

Identity federation and degraded auth: extend centralized identity to disconnected edge and propagate RBAC.
Data reconciliation and state consistency: own the cloud-edge data-refresh contract and related services.
Config and architecture drift: automate propagation of cloud changes to edge nodes to maintain parity.
DDIL reliability mandate: define and test failover/reconnect behavior against HA and DDIL concepts.
Set technical direction for the sub-team and mentor ICs.
