Job summary

clair is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive core product capabilities from discovery to production, focusing on scalable, AI-enabled systems. You will own full-stack work with React/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS in a primarily remote role with occasional travel.

You will partner across product and data teams to shape technical direction, deliver low-latency services, instrumentation, and reliable data pipelines while accelerating user impact and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building, deploying, and maintaining production-grade software in cloud-native environments.
• Strong product judgment, prioritizing user and business impact over unnecessary technical complexity.
• Experience with event-driven systems, transactional data, analytical pipelines, and performance-sensitive applications.
• Proficient with full-stack work using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript; Expo or React Native is a plus.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, AWS, and Laravel/PHP is beneficial.
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development workflows and strong communication skills.

• The source lists base salary bands of $124,000–$134,000 for Senior Engineer I and $137,000–$147,000 for Senior Engineer II, alongside equity, benefits, paid family leave, retirement and savings programs, paid time off, and a home-office allowance.
