Job summary

Strata-G, LLC is seeking experienced engineers to lead complex projects in support of national energy and environmental programs. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, advanced modeling, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in Oak Ridge, TN. A strong technical background and a DOE Q clearance are highly valued.

The position requires 5+ years of direct engineering experience, a BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited B.S. in an Engineering discipline.
Active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret eligible or equivalent.
U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
Minimum of 5 years of direct engineering experience in a regulated environment.
Proven hands-on experience with data systems, CAD/modeling tools, or nuclear safety documentation.
Strong discretion, integrity and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead complex engineering projects across critical operations and design lifecycles.
Maintain strict regulatory compliance with DOE orders and safety envelopes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including scientists and procurement.
Perform advanced modeling and generate technical specifications and interfaces.
Investigate issues, diagnose failure modes and implement corrective actions.
Mentor junior engineers to foster collaboration.
Support work planning, scheduling and cost estimation.
