Job summary

The California Department of Water Resources seeks a Senior Engineer Water Resources to lead a team of engineers and analysts, reconciling engineering challenges and guiding billing dispute resolution within the State Water Project context.

You will interact with Executive Management to develop and implement financial policies related to long-standing billing disputes and foster positive partnerships with SWP water contractors and auditors.

Qualifications

• Senior Engineer Water Resources or equivalent
• Experience leading engineers and analysts
• Ability to develop and implement financial policies

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and analysts to solve engineering challenges.
• Navigate and resolve billing disputes with SWP Water Contractors and auditors.
• Develop financial policies in collaboration with Executive Management.
• Interact with all levels of DWR to ensure project success.
