Department of Water Resources seeks a seasoned manager to lead a large field division of the State Water Project. The role requires directing operations and maintenance across multiple branches, including power plants, dams, and pumping facilities, while communicating policy and ensuring safety and reliability.

The incumbent will coordinate with media, community groups, and water users, and provide leadership on incident management, scheduling, and regulatory compliance to safeguard resources

Qualificações

• It is desirable that the incumbent have knowledge/experience in supervision and management of large field divisions.
• Experience with budgeting, cost monitoring, and large-scale power infrastructure.
• Familiarity with labor relations and stakeholder communication.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, manages, organizes, and controls activities of a large field division of the State Water Project.
• Oversees all operations and maintenance for multiple branches and facilities including power plants and dams.
• As a Department spokesperson, communicates policy to media and water users.
• Responds to emergencies and supports incident management.
