Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics (MSD) seeks a senior leader to guide a multidisciplinary team in R&D for automated cell analysis consumables and analyzers. The role emphasizes collaboration with internal and external partners to drive innovation and meet research objectives.

The candidate should have a Ph.D. in a related field, at least five years of industry experience, and proven experience integrating complex automated life sciences systems. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. preferred; other relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum five years of industry experience.
• Experience integrating automated life sciences or clinical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary team to design/execute experiments for cell analyzer development.
• Make and guide key technical decisions during R&D.
• Perform hands-on laboratory work within active programs.
• Coordinate with internal/external collaborators to align milestones.
• Prepare and present project status updates and technical reports to stakeholders.
• Lead performance management and development of direct reports.
