We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Engineer/Architect to manage application processes and maintenance for complex conceptual data at the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role requires expertise in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL Server, with responsibilities including software maintenance and system enhancements. This position is fully remote within the United States.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

Lead efforts for applications managing complex conceptual data in C#, .NET, and SQL Server
• environments.
• Implement .NET Core application and framework to perform daily metadata extraction
• process.
• Conduct research and recommend emerging technologies to improve efficiency.
• Expertise in React, .NET, SQL Server, and Angular development.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues efficiently.
• Experience in leading application conversions and modernizing legacy systems.
• Perform security review of source codebase using automated tools to identify and remediate
• findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Support software integration and compatibility across various platforms.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering with 8+ years of experience or equivalent professional

  experience.

• Bachelor's in Computer Science/4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

• Strong knowledge of software maintenance methodologies, including DevOps.

• Proficiency in SQL database management, query optimization, and stored procedures.

• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in a team environment.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI frameworks is a plus.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
• Strong understanding of security protocols and data protection.
• Familiarity with IoT, embedded systems, and real-time data processing
