LaBella Associates is seeking a Senior Engineer to work with our client to establish and evaluate equipment and construction standards for transmission, substation and distribution systems.

You will lead in a matrix organization, manage projects from initiation through closing, guide teams, and oversee quality, environmental processes, and third‑party coordination. Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office is preferred, along with a PE license and PMP/PgMP credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Professional Engineer License.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Project Management, with 3+ years on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, execute, and close projects with a defined WBS and cost baseline.
• Lead teams, facilitate commitment, remove obstacles, and drive productivity.
• Oversee quality and environmental processes to meet SPI and CPI performance indicators.
• Manage third‑party projects with other transmission owners and interconnecting customers.
• Accountable for cost/budgeting and management, communication, change, schedule, construction and commissioning oversight.

LaBella Associates is looking for a Senior Engineer to work with our client to establish and evaluate equipment and construction standards for their transmission, substation and distribution systems.

Effective leadership in a matrix organization.

• Initiation, Planning, Executing, and Closing Projects — defining the project WBS, Cost Baseline and OBS structure, initiating the project, building its comprehensive work plan, controlling and managing to the risks, scope, schedule and budget
• Managing Teams — facilitating commitment and productivity, removing obstacles, and managing teams
• Implementation and Management of Quality and Environmental Process and procedures on all projects focusing on meeting SPI and CPI performance indicators less than 1.0
• Management of third-party projects including other transmission owners and interconnecting customers
• Accountable and Responsible for:
• Cost /Budgeting and Management
• Communication Management
• Change Management
• Schedule Management
• Construction Management Oversight
• Commissioning Management Oversight

• 10 years or more of experience in Project Management, 3 years in large projects.
• Bachelor’s degree is required. Professional Engineer License.
