Cummins Inc. is seeking a hands-on Engine Technician for a permanent, on-site role. You'll troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a range of heavy-duty Cummins engines in a busy workshop, from small capacity units to HP products used in industrial, defence, and locomotive markets.

The role emphasizes careful disassembly/reassembly, documentation, and adherence to health and safety standards. You will work with skilled teams, support training, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engine strip-downs and rebuilds experience.
• Strong health and safety knowledge.
• Good communication and customer relationship skills.
• Licensed driving permit preferred.
• Apprentice Trained Engine Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Cummins heavy-duty engines.
• Perform complete engine overhauls and reassembly.
• Identify parts and tools for complex tasks.
• Assist senior technicians with fault diagnosis.
• Ensure work orders and warranty claims are documented.
• Maintain clean, safe workshop and comply with safety regs.
